my short attention span...
Ok, I admit it. I have a very short attention span. I can get very excited about things and be gung ho, for a limited amount of time and then they just sort of fizzle......
This is where setting goals becomes my friend....not just my friend, but vital to keep me going. Even little goals. Big goals are great, like running the marathon and climbing Mt. Fuji, etc., but it's the little goals that keep me from getting fat and lazy. After these two brilliant feats recently, I fizzled. Didn't even set foot in a gym or run a mile or do much of anything for six whole months!! Yikes...lazy...then a couple of friends suggested that we agree to run a 10K in a couple of months!
Yippee! That's all it took to get me back on track....I guess they needed some motivation, too. Maybe it's not just me.
But just having something to reach for, keeps life interesting, focused, positive and productive....what is your next goal?

I quite agree with you.
If I hadn't a motivation, I wouldn't have jogged 8 kilo in such a windy & cold weather yesterday morning. The fact I registered for Kasumigaura Marathon drives me out to the athletic field. There's only month to go till the race...no confidence yet to finish the 10 miles.
